Return and Refund

1. Introduction

Given the unique and fragile nature of our products, we have established this Return and Refund Policy in compliance with EU consumer law, specifically the Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights.

You have the right to cancel your order without giving any reason within the cancellation period.

2. Right of Withdrawal (The “Cooling-Off Period”)

You have 14 calendar days to return an item from the date you receive it. This is your legal right of withdrawal.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us of your decision to cancel the order by sending an email to info@miibcceramic.com.

3. Conditions for a Valid Return

For your return to be accepted, the following conditions must be met:

• The return request is made within the 14-day withdrawal period.
• The item must be returned in its original condition. It must not show any signs of wear, damage, or alteration.
• Crucially, due to the fragile nature of ceramic goods, the item must be returned in its original packaging. The packaging must be used to its full protective capacity to prevent damage during the return shipment. This includes the original interior padding (e.g., bubble wrap, foam), the cardboard box, and any outer protective layers.

Items that are damaged due to insufficient or incorrect packaging upon their return to us may be rejected or a partial refund may be issued to reflect the diminished value.

4. Return Process

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

1. Notify Us: Within the 14-day period, contact us at info@miibcceramic.com to inform us of your intention to return the item. Please provide your order number.
2. Pack the Item Securely: Repack the item exactly as you received it, using all the original packaging materials. We strongly recommend you take photos of the packaged item before dispatching it as proof of its condition.
3. Ship the Item: Send the securely packaged item to the following address:

   Important: You are responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us. We recommend you use a tracked and insured shipping service, as you are liable for any loss or damage during transit until the item is delivered back to us.

5. Refunds

Once we receive the returned item and have inspected its condition (including the integrity of the item and its packaging), we will process your refund.

• We will refund the full amount of the returned item(s) using the same payment method you used for the original transaction.
• Please note that the original shipping costs are non-refundable. You are also responsible for the cost of the return shipment.
• We are required by law to process your refund without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day we confirm that the return conditions have been met.

Refunds may be subject to a deduction if the value of the goods has been reduced due to your handling of them in a way which would not be acceptable in a shop.

6. Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish for a different item, please return the original item for a refund as outlined above and place a new order on our website.

7. Damaged or Faulty Items

This return policy does not affect your statutory rights if you receive an item that is damaged, faulty, or not as described. In such cases, please contact us immediately at info@miibcceramic.com with your order number and photos/video of the damage or fault. We will arrange a solution in accordance with EU warranty laws, which may include a full refund, replacement, or repair, with all associated costs borne by us.
